Saw Steppenwolf mid 70's in Chattanooga Tn....It's like turning the clock back in time!!!!! You are the ONLY person I have ever chosen to follow on You Tube...So refreshing to see a brilliant artist who is NO COOKIE CUTTER, does his own thing and is better than anyone I have heard in decades...🥰🥰🥰

This Steppenwolf song is an old favorite now done much better by the amazing duo of Dan and Victor (will we ever see the face of this incredibly talented guitarist or only his beautiful hair?). They have brought me back to loving metal. How epic!

I love the original, didn't think it is possible to make it better. Dan and Victor proved me wrong. They tend to do that a lot. Great cover! It totally deserves more views.

YES YES YES YES!!!! THIS is EXACTLY how this song should sound. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the classic, you can't go wrong with some old classic Steppenwolf, but this version KICKS SO MUCH ASS it's almost frightening.

Indeed, though I do agree the mix isn't quite spot on IMO. But the only thing really wrong with this is its a cover of the only darn song of theirs anybody covers, the one most folks have probably heard, seems to me if you are going to mix up the big hit so damn well you need to them mix up another of their quality works to show proper appreciation for their music as a whole. I'd love to hear something like Monster, Ride with Me, etc covered with so much flair.

One of the things I love the most besides the music, is his face! He looks so happy singing, like he's genuinely enjoying singing, and it's so refreshing! Also, does any1 get the feeling of a younger and thinner Jack Black? I dunno, his facial expressions and way of singing just makes me think of Jack Black?!

The original version of Steppenwolf has been with me since I was 18, when I was able to get my license to drive my motorcycle. The motorcycle and the song are more modern today. Thanks Dan for this variant.

Never was into heavy metal although I love a great guitar solo. However just became your fan, having only today heard your Amazing Grace video and National Anthem. Born to be Wild one of my all time favorites (lol I am 75). My 54 year old stepdaughter is the metal fan. Anyway, just became a subscriber to your channel. It's 4:33pm in the United States and I just got done listening to your version of Born to be Wild....WOW!!! I grew up in the 60's and 70's... I'll be 67 in a few!!
