This is really, really amazing... some people try to cover Born to Die and make it like a happy song or something... like wtf... this is one of the saddest songs in the world and its' MEANT to be that way and yet at the same time it has a positive note about it which is so subtle. You 100% got this in your video and for that reason I liked it straight away and subbed to you, I am an instant fan! There were one or two moments in the high notes when your pitch was shaky but I feel it was worth it to hear your really raw, emotional cover, it might not have been so honest had you made a version with no mistakes at all! If anyone is interested I have a cover of Born to Die on my channel where I really tried to capture this melancholy and yet accepting spirit, I would love for you to check it out, it is my most recent video.
