BORROW NOT A FEW- What do you have? Today at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart reads 2nd Kings 4:1-4 as he teaches on the miracles and power of God that every believer has access to, despite a famine in our landscape of life. The widow woman, did as the Prophet Elisha told her, borrowing as many vessels as she could for the oil in her small pot was to be poured out into all the empty vessels she would find. Brother Swaggart encourages us that the symbolism here is for every believer; Satan tries to discourage and steal from the believer’s rightful inheritance in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit, i.e., the oil, will fill the entirety of our lives and meet all our needs if we will allow Him. When we gather too few of vessels, the Lord says to borrow not a few, for He gives enough and more. We can always trust in the power of God that is always with us when our faith is anchored in the blood of Jesus. Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid; the Lord, thy God goes with us.
