I have the same gap,still the back wheel does not sit down exactly in relation to a frame it was necessary to make a file a bigger opening on a frame that the the wheel sat exactly

The headset is a simple fix which takes seconds. Loosen the two stem bolts and give the headset cap bolt half a turn, tighten everything up to the correct torque settings and try. Head sets do bed in. Don’t over tighten though

Did you get a fix for it? I have the same problem with mine. Fine yesterday but it’s locked today. Be interesting to see how you fixed it.

Fiddling with bikes is half the fun of owning one! As long as its not a complex fix and requires weeks at the shop. I enjoy your videos mate!

I think the headsets need a bit of adjustment after they bed in although mine seems OK at the moment. Another thing I found strange was that where the water bottle screws into the frame it's just 2 holes that will fill with mud and water I would have expected it to come with at least two T5 bolts

Yeah I thought that a little odd as well....and indeed, first ride out they got dirt in them! Let me know how you get on with your headset.

Hi, I have the same problem after activation of the lock function. I got error 531 and after software update and major reset the error still is there. Now the motor is send to Bosch to clear the Lock function. It will take a while whiteout riding my bike

Hi Ian, did you upgrade to the Kiox? How you I don’t the Bosch cx? Also what dealer did you buy the bike from, ebikes are like rocking horse shite at the moment

I have had same model, stereo hybrid 140 race 625, for a month and I have ridden so far 425 km. I have not gotten any problems with the Kiox-unit and I am using the locking function. However I have the same kind of movement with the head and with the dropper. Also got weird creaking sound from the cranks. Do you have any creaking when pedaling?

I also get the weird creaking from the crank at times. Sounds like an old rocking chair.

Hi! I have a Cube Reaction TM with the same dropper post and mine also has some play. I also tightened the two Allen bolts but I realized that the play was in the post itself. It is not annoying but keeps me thinking how I could fix it. Did you find a fix for that? Thanks for your videos.

Cube stereo hybrid one of the cheapest ebike in the market. So be ready to tightening every nut. To check every joint. To put washers between frame and bolts. Rattling battery, air in the brakes it's a normal for it. I have the same cube stereo race hybrid, carbon frame 160 . 2021. It's definitely not a piece of engineering art. But it's good enough when you maintain it properly.

Mine was a short from a cable, they had to rewire part of the bike.

Loads of people are doing just fine, I would buy....no real reason to hold off, watch the series of videos, its all resolved easily.

Beacuas somme say no.but whit cube 140 you can.i weig too i nedd more speed and hav 10 day to changer byke to a cube. What do you consider meg, is dificult for my me to Clint the road and whit turbo too

not a problem at all . But its not legal. The best way to get speedbox3 and install it. It is easy and doesnt spoil speed indication on your display.

Seen your videos mate. See what I mean about the niggling problems. The dropper posts all move a little, I think it's just part of how there made. I spotted it just like you did on the first bike I owned with one on. Joe.

I am a ginny pig like you ha ha. Such fun! I am hoping that the head gets sorted and off I go. I mean if there wasn’t a lock feature I could have gone for a ride today...mind you forks might have fallen out 😂

They suspect the forks havent been cut to the right length (poss 2-3mm to long still), so no matter how tight its clamped it wont compress enough).

Real Life Gadget Reviews If that’s the issue with the headset, the easy fix would be to add another fork steer tube spacer under the stem. Will allow the headset to be tightened. Keep up the good work, been a subscriber since the electric moto trial video

It was a short in the wiring somewhere that was tripping stuff out. Now sorted with a battery swap and a partial rewire

You need to remove the kiox from your phone, reconnect and it will reset it. Had same problem with my kiox. Sorted itself

Yeah like I say in the video when its resolved, its bosch components. (But as people have pointed out Cube allow them onto their machines)

don't forget the seat stem movement. also, the stem should tighten up a little more because if you wanted to drop down the bars by removing a spacer. watch this link. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oa2giddhp5zVeac.html

Yes. You cant deactivate without a phone signal and the use of your app. I think it must connect to your account on the bosh server and verify. in my case, I locked it at home and when I got to the trail centre, which has no phone signal, I couldn't unlock my bike..... it's a nice idea but most people will take the display with them (like a key) if they are away from the bike anyway and also, so the display doesn't get nicked. This means the bike will be powerless anyway so unless it's for insurance purposes, I'm not sure of the point of the lock feature now.

I've got the lock activated on my jam2 with no issues. It's just the display locked to the motor. I don't need mobile phone reception.

thanks for the review. I will not buy these overpriced eBikes. Each brand has problems. My 2012 fully MTB with XT & Fox is working till today like new. I will only rent eBikes. I pay 50$ for 5 hours.
