For people with comments asking to compair the UE with Bose S1 pro; from my personal experience, I recently sold my Bose S1 Pro and bought the UE Hyperboom speaker. The difference is day and night when it come to bass for EDM music. With the Hyperboom you really enjoy low frequencies, without a rattling noise coming from the box, like the one Bose had (I tried several speakers at the store and they all rattle with heavy bass music)

Just listening on my headphones to 0:31 into the video and again at 1:49, you will hear the Hyperboom reproducing the bass much easier. In fact, if you were just listening to the Bose in your home, you wouldn't even know just how deep that bass is supposed to be at that point in the song. It's quite remarkable the difference. But then the tradeoff is the vocals. At 0:31, the vocals seem more distant, whereas on the Bose (1:49), it's much easier to hear the vocals. Interesting. Are EQ settings flat on both? Is the bass turned up on the Hyperboom?

I have the hyperboom. People have to understand. Portability wise the Bose is more convinient and sounds great! But if you want a real portable party! the hyperboom has better bass! And perfect for bbqs!

Hyperboom I wanna strap that thing to my bike lol I live stereo sound it sounds way better than any of The mono speakers

Would you say the hyperboom is better on all areas? Is the vocals clearer on the Bose at all? I'm looking to buy one of these two for my car instead of upgrading the speakers but undecided which would be better

The problem with the bose is that it suffers at high volumes. So if it was in the car and you had the windows open you might find it hard to hear it at a good quality. Whereas the hyperboom would have no trouble. I'm also interested as to how you are going to fit it in the car?

@@HammoTechReviews thanks for the reply. So sound quality and vocal wise would you say the Bose is on par or they are equal? I've got a coupe so it will fit in the boot or footwell. Hoping it is worth it because the stereo upgrades for my car are 1500+

The thing I found with Ultimate ears speakers as compared to bose is that the music is not that crips and low mids and highs. I know it has more bass but the music and bass does not connect together :(

With the Ultimate Ears App, you can tun it any way you like. Everybody has a personal listening taste, just like food.

The comparison makes no sense. Either compare the Hyperboom to the Bose S1 Pro, or the Bose Smart speaker to the UE Boom/Megaboom 3

@@HammoTechReviews I would think the reason people are here is to make an informed decision if they are interested in purchasing speakers. Clearly I am partial since I live by UE Booms, but Bose is a good speaker as well.
