The only thing your missing is to do the audio testing for this stereo....specifically the preamp outputs integrity and voltage....and I guess for everyone else the internal amp specs.......

I have one, I would guess 15 watt RMS with little distortion. The advertised is 20 watt RMS at 10% THD yes that is how they advertise it...

@@marksjdejong thanks, i actually went with the Kenwood 7706S. It can definitely do 2 Bluetooth phones at once, carplay/Android auto and also 5 Bluetooth streaming devices. 🤣 Great use for old phones to store music etc.

Can I use the iPhone mirroring adapter on my Sony XAV-AX1000? I only see one yellow RCA connector on the back and that's being used for the backup camera in my RV. Or does the kit plug into the AUX port in front of the unit?

Equal to Sony, pioneer and Kenwood will be better. For great sound run a seperate amp. This is rated at 20watt RMS @ 10%thd. A Kenwood would be 16-18watt at 0.1 THD or better. To achieve an equivalent wattage at that low RMS this one will probably be 15 Watt or less.

Seconded. I bought one radio from them (BE10ACP) and it burnt out the moment it got installed and powered on at the audio shop. I opted for their 7 inch model (BE7ACP) and it's just awful. The colors looked washed out, it sounds bad, and the screen feels laggy. I don't recommend anything from Boss.

If you use a module on you vehicle you may have to turn up the volume from there so you can have high volume on your car that hapened to me

I just got a new/used car with this in it. When I got in the radio was on., a hour later I tried to plug my iPod and it didn’t work Then nothing else worked., I can’t get any volume at all I tried to sync iPhone 8plus Shows it did it., I see my contacts etc Ask my iPhone when getting a call., use iPhone or the car., I don’t get any volume from car I went through all the set up The volume says on Set time., zone date whole bunch of stuff And it shows all that on screen No apps were synced over only contacts., it allows me to dial off key pad in car but no volume My son is a wiz at this stuff and he can’t figure it out either HELP !

Whoa! There are no audio settings in the stereo to unmute? I would try either pulling the stereo out and unplugging the main wiring harness and plugging it back in, or disconnecting and then reconnecting the battery. This will completely wipe all memory from the stereo.

Hi I have a question... I just insta the boss BV800ACP model and something is wrong with it.. or maybe it wasn't installed properly. The thing is that every time I turn the key on the stereo starts with with a high volume and I have to press the volume up to volume down otherwise it will play with a high volume without having it in high volume. Is that normal. Or some advice you guys can give me.. or may be the unit is factory damage.? I don't know...🤔😑

Honestly never seen that! My guess is your battery could be on its last legs, when was the last time you swapped it out? Sometimes as weak 12v supply can create odd electrical activity.

All head units have built in amplifiers, that's how they produce sound. However, they're generally very weak and can't power a subwoofer on their own. That's why you need to always get an external amplifier whenever thinking about installing a subwoofer, to power the sub.

It will be very useful to be able to distinct gamma settings according to changing day and night. In night preset with low brightness factor, gamma tuning increase readability while in day preset it is not necessary anymore.

There is no cable. You use your USB cable to connect to the USB input of the stereo

@@Qualitymobilevideo Hi i try to plug my iphone using a good cable in the CarPlay usb and it doesn’t appear on the screen 😢 I tried different iPhone setting on off everything and it just don’t show active on the boss screen. Do you know how to fix this ? I have a Rav4 2010

If you screen mirror will it be full screen or small screen? And is there a way to get Netflix and KZfaq to work other than jail breaking my iPhone or no?

It will be vertical on the display, then goes to wide screen for video or flipping your phone horizontally

Does navigation come with this or do I have to have my phone plugged in and do I have to have my phone plugged in to use Android auto or is it Wireless?

This is not wireless AA or AC. It is wired. You must be plugged in

My raise/lower and mute volume buttons have stopped working and the factory reset just sticks on the loading symbol. But the mic and home button still work. Can someone please help

Hey I found the fix!! Grab a bobby pin or a paper clip make a point with it. There’s a little tiny hole on the left bottom corner hold it in there pressing the button for 10 seconds. Let me know if that worked.
