Hi guys! Boss IR-2 Clean tone and distortion using the Tweed Amp , Fender Bassman, and Brown Amp with native Celestion IRs. Signal chain: Guitar, wah, phase 90, RC Booster, TS Mini to IR2 input. The Zoom G1 Four for tuner, noise reduction, modulations, delay and reverb is connected via the IR-2's stereo send/return. Use headphones as there are stereo effects in the video. Hope you like it! Guitar: Fender Stratocaster MIJ 1996, HSS - Original ceramics pickups (neck/mid) and Seymour Duncan '59 (SH-1n neck) on the bridge position.
👉🏼 I recorded directly on the PC using my pedals directly on the M-Audio USB interface. No post-production work.

La pedalera g1 four conectada por send/return suena muy bien. en el video anterior (Boss IR-2 Twin) me sorprendió mucho. Tiene muy buenos efectos de modulación, reverb y delay que sorprenden para ser una pedalera económica, pero muy funcional a la vez. Saludos 🤘

Estoy de acuerdo contigo amigo :) Y compacto. Está surgiendo una nueva línea de Zoom MS+ y creo que hay una solo para modulaciones, delay and reverbs. Debería ser genial y ocupar incluso menos espacio que el G1 Four. Gracias!

@@DirectRecordingGuitar É excelente mesmo!!! Vi outros reviews tb com timbre excelente!! Será que essa zoom aguentaria 3 vozes, mesmo q não fossem paralelas, a original com dois intervalos distintos mais a simulação de amp?

Eu nunca tentei, putz nem por curiosidade. Já fiz isso com as MG's, sobrepus dois harmonists, um harmonizando o outro e funcionou muito bem. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/palyeNyH29-Ulpc.html Vou tentar isso na Zoom. :) Valeu cara! Obrigado.

Seus vídeos são sensacionais, eu adoro maratonar e curtir. Quando você usa o Brown Sound no IR2 seu delay e reverb estão antes na cadeia na zoom? Ja tentei usar assim e não consegui deixar bom como vc usa. Parabéns e vida longa!

Valeu Jean! Muito obrigado cara! Tem que colocar a configuração do IR-2 como eu mostro em 10:52 pelo programa IR2 IR Loader da Boss, o "Return Mode" em stereo. E o cabo que sai da G1F tem que ser TRS P10 stereo dos dois lados. Conecta ele na saída da G1F e a outra ponta no Return do IR-2. Abração cara! Qualquer dúvida é só chamar por aqui.

Video idea. Zoom g1x four John Mayer (with external pedals) Use the zoom as a preamp and modulation. And then use the BD2 and the Ts9 for OD

Yes bro, :) just delete the OD that is in the G1F preset indicated above. A TS (808, 9 or mini) would be a good option but there are others.

Fala cara, acho que esse preamp Brown usado no vídeo já é bem 80tão. Brown é uma referência a Brown Sound né? EVH... Não tenho certeza se a Boss quis fazer isso mas eu escuto assim o timbre dele naquela linha EVH mesmo. :) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y7qHYN18q5jNqas.html

Dumb questiom. Isnt it possible to just record via usb with the IR2 ? No computer interface I mean? Seems to me that using an interface is judt an extra step and expense? Thats a queation not a statement. 😂???. Im tryjng to decide whst to use for an amp simulator pedal to do mostky high gain hard rock and blues and then add effects such as delay and reverb and maybe an eventide micro pitch delay in the effects loop of the IR2 for instance. Trying to keep it simple and silent on stage and go straight to miximg drsk or FOH. At the small clubs I will be olahing at it is required that there is no amp on stage most of the time... Very cool tones man. Very very cool.. ❤

Hi, thanks! Yes, it is possible to use it as an audio interface as I did in this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rsiHrK2Z08zKhqM.html Sometimes I choose to use an external interface simply to simulate a live show situation. In this case, using the L & R outputs of the IR-2 to the mixer/PA system.

Zoom should just update their G1Four with a stronger DSP and put real IR in there.

I think the G1F is a good entry-level multi-effects. I believe they did what you mentioned with the G2Four, but I've never had it in my hands, so I can't be sure.
