Boss Laser Mirrors Alignment Instructions

Here's quick video that shows basics of mirror alignment for CO2 lasers.
Keep in mind that aliment errors "compound" further down the line, meaning that small deviation on 1st mirror will have larger deviation on second and so on. If your CO2 tube is not aligned to 1st mirror, you might not be able to align your 3rd mirror at all.

Thanks for sharing. I've seen other claims that the beam to the 3rd mirror should hit slightly above center (higher).

After hitting the first mirror, it is in the center. I line up the red dot to that center point. But when I line up the dot to the second mirror, the burn laser is very very very far off, like not even hitting the bracket far off. Any suggestions?

Try aligning red laser to the second mirror, don't align it to the first one

sadly I cant setup my mirrors... idk what is wrong.. I setup center for X axis and max X (200mm), its perfect move to X minimum (means on 0mm) and its broken.

good for general alignment if the mounts are all correct but sometimes it requires moving the mounts not just adjusting the mirrors. Great video though

Once it is set.. shouldn't have to move the mounts. If they are repeatedly needing moved.. there is a problem elsewhere. Generally mounts or tube alignment are done when new install or when making modifications ( adding beam combiner).

@@turboflushmine came like a blind man on Friday at 10 min to quitting time installed my tube and mounts. I agree once set I don't see why you'd need to adjust them again unless you have made major modifications
