hi All! Hope your all feeling fine and making beautiful music!
This is my Boss VE-500 Vocal Performer... its a great vocal harmoniser that uses the guitar as a reference to make sure your harmonies are always in tune!
It's full of all the classic vocal effects.... like reverb and delay... and some special effects as well!
Hope you enjoy it…
This is not a paid presentation….
Drop us an email at thepedalpicassos@gmail.com if you’d like to see us demo a certain pedal!
…and please subscribe, like and leave a comment! …it all helps!!!

I have the VE-20 which I've had for years and served very well in both recording and gigging and just bought the VE-500 after seeing some nice choir like sounds generated from a single voice. I also like the idea of fine tuning everything from a PC much more eaiser that way like my Boss ME-80 for my guitar. Its also much smaller and lighter than previous Vocal fx units.

Hello, I bought boss ve-50" I have noticed that when you use pitch correction or when you use ehnace the treble (and it is especially noticeable on the ''s''), the treble sound is not stable and is noticeable as some noise. Is it normal for this to happen when using these effects? thank you

Hi mate! A lot of great questions here! Yes! It does work with a backing track, but there is only one input, so you can only have the guitar going or the backing track going, you can’t plug both into it at the same time. As for the outputs… there are two microphone outputs… but only one input… so I run one microphone output to the mixing desk and the other microphone output to my in ear monitors. For your last question… the VE-500 is by far the best unit for live performance… and yep… you can turn the harmonies on and off with an external Footswitch

Hi there! @thepedalpicassos
@thepedalpicassos 2 жыл бұрын
If you are running any type of overdrive on an acoustic guitar, you will also need to run some sort of speaker emulation or an IR, Otherwise the overdrive will sound really fizzy and buzzy…. Which is also totally fine if you were going for that sound!

@@leecanning123 Little late to the party, but I run a Headrush Gigboard for acoustic and split the output so my clean acoustic sound is always constant and the distortion or effects are all running on a different channel so they can be 'tamed' if needed... I can then also switch the scene so it re routes to a mono output and all sound is effected. I'd imagine the HX has similar routing options.
