It was a bullshit beef. Im from UGK’s hometown. I know some people that were close to Bun and Pimp especially Pimp. I asked him about Pimp and Jay Z situation and did Pimp hated Jay. He said no they got cool after they did the Big Pimpin. It wasn’t serious. Yes Pimp didn’t like the Timbaland beat, which was true. As far as Pimp didn’t wanna work with Jay just because of 2Pac was beefing with him, Nas and others doesn’t mean that you can’t work with them. UGK and Pac never met according to Bun. From Bun’s point of view, it wasn’t a serious thing. Look at Too Short for example. Too Short worked with Jay Z in 97, 98 and 99. Short knew Pac personally but after Pac died, that shit didn’t matter because it was bullshit at the end of the day. That east and west was bullshit.
