There was also no difference in ball movement; the lakers were just getting killed in the paint since neither AD nor Bron were able to match up so they resorted to shooting 3s or driving to the basket in transition before the Celtics defence was set.

And a team gets them through out hustling the other team, being quicker to the ball, driving to the basket, and generally outplaying the opponent. That's what I saw tonight. My Celtics are weak minded bunch too often and only show up when they feel like it.

I also saw the Lakers giving up twice in blowout losses vs Rockets and getting 25 free throws. Another example was last years Lakers GSW game 1: 29-6 free throws while the warriors were really hustling and only lost by 5. OR, how about the recent Lakers - GSW game? Both teams fought hard till the end and it was 37-11 at the end of regulation. These examples show, free throws dont mean none of those things you said there, and I hate to break it to you, but the only factors deciding who gets free throws, are the refs. So the questions stays, and its not what you saw, but how does the box score show the Celtics beat themselves?

In reality Lebron plays no D and scuffs at his teammates constantly for ironically supposedly playing no decent D and on offense he just stands still, is a PF 250, but barely sets any screens for anybody and often just holds the ball for 16 seconds doing, nothing really and then either does a pull up contested 3 with everybody watching him or at the last moment drops the ball off to a teammate so the teammate can waste his FG%. Honestly I would be incredibly and I mean incredibly unmotivated playing with Lebron. Yes he's great but imagine being on the court and one of your teammates play like this? You'll lose motivation on both sides off the ball so quickly after so many possessions like this. I'd bet everything on if lets say you'd replaced him with Kawhi, KD or even someone like George(alternative universe) the team wouldve been way better off as of right now. Been saying this all season, hell for 3 seasons in a row now as a Laker fan watching the games but you'll just get called a hater for it. I saw the Lakers are 3-3 without Lebron, but what surprised me is that except one game and one closely to it, the Lakers shot an average 42% from 3 at least in all games without Lebron on an average 32 attempts per game. Not only do they create more 3's, they also hit more 3's with him off the floor.
