Nice Project! You might want to consider wrapping the plywood in some fiberglass to seal out moisture. It will last a lot longer. They sell Glass and Resin at Home Depot real easy. You could roll on Finishing Gelcoat, tint it to match the Whaler Tan.

I would recommend a battery case boys, batteries tend to leak and that acid will eat your boat.

Hello, Very good video for which decides to refresh a montauk. It's my case, I'm in France. You will guess it ... with my language ! I'm particularly interested by mounting the trolling motor. I saw you put the minn kota support directly , you don't use any cutting board or other support between the boat and the minn kota support. Is it solid enough ? Did you use some inserts to fix the support ? Many thanks for your response .
