I’ve no idea if you’re still working but I thought I’d let you know that I’m currently studying for my first board exam to become an orthopaedic surgeon. The “miscellaneous” portion of the exam counts for 5% of the exam. There are 20 topics that can be asked in this portion, one of which is how the autoclave works. I read a 5 minute Google search which gave the basics and I probably would have been able to answer that 1MCQ which would have counted for 0.5%. Instead I found myself watching your 1.5 hr lecture and thoroughly enjoying it. I’d just like to say your passion and enthusiasm shines through. I hope you are well and I hope you know you are appreciated all over the world. Take care Teach. In 7 years I’ll come back and let you know I’ve graduated.

I have done sterile process for 20 years and did not need to be certified because I had been grandfathered in but I got a job closer to home and so I had 2 years to get certified, needless to say I was so scared. I have never been good at taking test and I failed all the practice test until the night before I had to take the test I stumbled along Steve's videos and I just want to say he is awsome, I really don't think I would have passed if not for him. I was taking the test and if there was something I didn't know I remembered him talking about it. I just want to say THANK YOU!!! You just don't know how much I appreciate it. Steve you rock!!!!

I'm in the process of moving to go to a school for Sterlization Processing. I came across your videos, and am actually taking notes as if I was in your classroom. I remember the first one I watched was the Microbiology basics. I was laughing hysterically. I like how your very simple at explaining detailed information. I've enjoyed the "inside," medical jokes, or how you would try to playfully tease your students. I only have leeway due to going to college for dentistry Oh gosh it's just great. I had an Anatomy teacher...he couldn't teach very well, even though I got an A in his class, your one of the best instructors I've seen teaching. Hope to see more, think you do a fantastic job and enjoy your stories and comical relief you share while teaching. Your students are VERY LUCKY to have an intelligent instructor. Oh! By the way....in between classes, try the heavy duty magic eraser, it will make the board look amazing, a pain but it slips off like water! Good luck, Steve! Oh another thing, I banned soda out of my house, we don't drink it that much but after you explained it oh light blub, HELLO!!! and proud to say my 2 year old has never had soda, holly smokes! to see crazy parents have that in bottles...and koolaide? AND GIVE IT to their infants and toddlers! I've seen things in clinics that people would never believe, it's SO terrible. Should be banned.

I work designing a special autoclave for treatment of municipal solid waste, and from the depth of my mind and my heart I want to thank you very much for the extraordinary, wonderful, marvelous, excellent and instructive video that you have made, because honestly it has not only made me understand many things about which was totally ignorant, if not that it has opened the doors of my mind to me to know in depth others, I pray God will give you health and happiness for many years, because with people like you and thanks to people like you who teach and educate, build a world better with people helping other people, it has been and will be a pleasure to watch your videos. My highest respect towards his person and his work. Best Regards, JBiG

Now upon taking over this roll I learned so much and gained a whole new respect for sterile processing. I started questioning the process and started teaching myself and learning the correct way to run a sterile processing department on my own. Long story short these videos helped me so much! I am so grateful for them. Today I finally took my exam for certification in SPD, and I passed! So now I am a Certified Surgical Technologist and a Certified Sterile Processing Technician. Mr Steve I can’t thank you enough for your videos about Sterile processing tech class. The way you teach , your examples all tells that you’re the best teacher ever. I was learning as if I was in the classroom and I was taking notes when I watch your videos. I didn’t got to school but I just watch your class and read the book then guess what happened I pass the exam. My fellow friends almost all what he said and write was in the exam. Thank you so much for your class.

This is the best you tube videos that I have watched. I love this teacher, because I have learned 110% more, by the way he describes and writes on board. Steve; from Boston Career Institute, needs to come to my school, my hospital, and a few others around town to teach them the right way of doing things ! Keep posting these videos, Is it possible to do all of the chapters of the book, named IAHCSMM central service technical manual, Thank you!!
