The way Ben described the 5th opened my mind. I've heard it umpteen times, but now I'll listen to it with re-educated delight and awareness.

Beethoven makes sense.

no equal to this symphony, I find it superior to the ninth. Yes, the four notes are a call for attention, totally okay, no better other way than that to capture the listening with a vital development more rhythmic than melodic in my opinion and will be performed by stringed instruments which are melodic instruments par excellence. WOOOW. Every time we listen, we are super excited by this irresistible theme !!!! The following theme comes to soften this rigor made express to attract the attention not only not of the audience but also of all mankind: spiritual power was bestowed on me from above.
