This is my video review of the Bote float Hangout Chair. I do a quick unboxing, comare it to some other floaties, and a quick summation of the product.

I'm thinking it's pretty expennsive for a float chair & you mentioned use it for a river float trip but I don't see how you could use your arms to move around obstacles etc. I have to say the guy doing the video is pretty cute!

Your right about the chair. Expensive and not very maneuverable, but I disagree about the guy being "pretty cute" I think he looks like a big goober.

Great review, was just about to purchase a 2 pack of these but now you have me second guessing. What is the make of the chair that you were comparing it to that you thought was more comfortable?

It was a Costco brand. The ones that are just a foam loop with a sling. Those are a bit more comfy, but no where to put your coffee mug, or even a laptop. Although the bote float is not the most comfortable, the ability to put things on the arms is a huge plus, and makes it worth owning in my opinion.

love the review. what is the little bump in middle of backrest? is it an imperfection? Does it bother you when you paid $300+ I just went on botè website and looks like its comes that way because of the inflation valve on the back.

Funny you noticed that. Im really not sure. I thought it was just a manufacturing issue, but like you said it is there on all of them.

How is the brown padding on the armrests holding up now ? Any peeling/fading?

It’s holding up very well, no issues at all

You’re stuck with your arms, no other place to put them.
