I picked up this kayak last month and I’m stoked to get it out this spring with my family. I chose it for all the reasons you both described. I’m also an acid kayak angler and this fits that bill perfectly. Weight capacity is typically the main issue for traditional kayaks (non-inflatable) with regard to kayak fishing gear. This boat has a capacity of 400 pounds which I will likely never even get close to exceeding.

We'd love to know what you think about it when you get out there! Unfortunately, we had to send it to the next review channel and only had a limited amount of time to spend on it but loved every second of it!

Not sure if this was recorded with pre-production information, but unfortunately the Zeppelin listed on the Bote website no longer includes the 5-piece paddle.

No one ever really reviews durability in the view of an angler... What if I'm out and a hook penetrates the inflatable bote? Or you run up on shallow unexpected rocks... Will it endure? What to do if it doesn't?

I wanted to buy the Bote lono but I was worried about the repacking issues. But I like the Zeppelin.

It was surprisingly easy to pack up. That giant bag also made it extremely easy to do!

I’d like to see this build as a dual use. Make the centre board a paddle board with all the options like Blackfin XL or V. Cheers from Canader eh!

Absolutely and they can be paddled like a paddle board, but a board will be faster although far less stable than these kayaks. For taking out kids(s) or dogs, go with the the Zeppelin as the stability is MUCH better.

Between this and the Deus which would you suggest for my use case? 6ft tall 250lbs have a 30lb dog. Not a good Swimmer so stability is key. Looking for fitness. For exercise I like that the Deus I could SUP and practice SUPing. Could I paddle standing on this too?

Check out the Bote Lono. You can do both and it has a 400lb limit.

Deus catches a LOT of wind with it's high sides. I've paddled this 10' and 12' Zeppelin and the 12' is the better performer for speed and tracking and of course more room, but for general purpose rivers, lakes, creeks, and white water including Class II, the 10' is sweet. Made with good quality materials.

In fact, yes. Justin tore his Achilles and was unable to stand at all at the time. We are hoping to get the Zeppelin back in so we can do further reviewing of it as we did love the limited amount of time we did have with it.
