'Both of You Pissed Me Off!': Arizona Deputy Blasts Two Drivers for Road Raging

8 ай бұрынDeputy Frank Sloup gets onto two drivers for aggressively driving because of road rage. "That level of driving here with people that aren't playing your game of driving, seeing who can get in front of who is absolutely unacceptable," Sloup exclaimed.

The tense bodycam footage shows Deputy Sloup sternly lecturing the two motorists after witnessing their reckless driving behavior. He scolds them for recklessly weaving in and out of traffic at high speeds, putting other drivers at risk in their effort to get ahead of each other. Sloup makes it clear that this type of aggressive road rage driving will not be tolerated, emphasizing how easily it could have caused a serious accident. While the drivers try to blame and make excuses for their actions, the deputy shuts them down, reminding them of their responsibility to drive safely and obey traffic laws.

maryhelenbarletti8419. It is crazy, isn't it ? and they seem to let them drive off if their "tag" has expired. You can't drive your car at all if it's unregistered. Personal protection comes under you registration fee, but damage against repairs to you car come under a different category. It must make him feel good when he gets a client ? like this, who openly friendly, owns her mistake and cops it on the chin like a true soldier. Frank seems like a decent sort of guy anyway.

@@ehren5347 I have seen mentions of this, but nobody says where that info is to be found.... Even so, that could be why he has a film crew on him and is going through retraining. Often when this happens they officer will take a pay cut for a certain period of time. If he messes up, he is out kind of thing.

I'm a former prosecutor. I worked several road rage cases that ended in property damage, injuries, or even deaths. None of it made any sense. When I see someone driving like a nut, I just move over. I don't take it personally. Life is too short and we are too blessed to even have a car to get around in for this kind of nonsense to happen.

I lost my brother-in-law 3 months ago, who was an innocent bystander driving on the opposite side of the highway of two people battling in road rage at over 100mph. 5 people plus an un-born child died because of it. There is no excuse for road rage.

On the topic of insurance, personally it's an irksome expense because it's for "what if" scenarios and peace of mind in case accidents should happen. It bothers me that I have to pay for it as I may never have to use it. I'm confident I'm not alone in feeling this way. I could understand why someone wouldn't pay for it, with the usefulness of insurance being questionable

Which is most cops. Driving for a living for over a decade I met my share of smokies and city-kitties, and all but one, were as professional as could be. We will NEVER have 100% perfect cops, human nature doesn't work that way, but the screening process is pretty rigid in most places.

He also did a great job at clarifying they were BOTH getting tickets. Sometimes tempers flare when one person sees they are getting slapped with citations and the other person is ‘free to go’ this officer did a fantastic job.

After a traffic stop as long as it stays at a ticket level and not bumped up to detainment/arrest. You are free to go after you get your signed copy saying you will show up for court on the set date... You are not free to go when things happen to change from the ticket like having drugs in the car, no driver license or arguing with the officer/deputy/trooper.

As someone who is often very critical of police I do have to say that i appreciate the way he is calm, cool, polite, yet assertive. But above all I really like the fact that i didn't see him fishing. He isn't looking to make a speeding ticket into calling for drug dogs, pulling people out of their cars, using their words to drum up excuses to write more tickets or haul them to jail. It's the first video i've seen but Gotta say i'm impressed with that so far.

No, if he sees someone is on drugs or intoxicated, he makes them get out of the car and tests them. And yes, he does fish for answers. The difference is he's so smooth and politely sarcastic that they don't see it coming. His tone is very matter of fact, and this is how it's going to go. Doesn't give people a chance to argue facts. He's good and funny.

Your wallet will thank you for doing that way rather then getting pulled over.. It is also much safer to meet him in a parking lot at the sheriff office then on the side of the road.

Seriously. Who cares if a stranger flips you off? An insult only matters if it comes from someone you love and/or respect. From any other source, it's irrelevant. Like a fly on a horse's rump; minor irritant but not harmful. Just let it roll off your back and move on. Why engage with a low-life? Once I was very angry with another driver that endangered others and me. I just took the next exit and bought a coffee. Enjoyed the rest of my afternoon and haven't thought about it again until I saw this video. Don't sweat the small stuff.

raging back at a rager only makes everyone rage more.... A bit of embarrassment works so much better tamping down their ego, and having to pay a small fine makes them think about it for a few days. An unthinking brain tends to do what it's been successful at in the past.... This was a fail, and likely the unthinking brain will make a better decision in the future.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an officer like Frank. Absolutely the perfect mix of knowledge, humor and a way of delivering the bad news (ticket) without things getting confrontational. Also never seen anyone want a selfie with an officer who just issued them a citation. This guy is a gem.
