I've never arranged anything by Joni Mitchell before.. Her singing is so incredibly free and wonderful. To do justice to a Joni Mitchell song (on solo guitar) seemed impossible.. but I tried! Only because this is one of my all time favorite songs. Thank you so much for listening!

Well, I've struggled, laboured, cried, and laughed on acoustic guitar for over 30 years. I've heard player after player, instrumental, and song. And, just when you think you've heard it all, along comes such a beautiful, beautifully played arrangement. Fantastic.

Emil, do you have a recording of that song that you posted on your Instagram feed where you were playing the guitar and your wife was singing.i thought that was a terrific and soul-touching performance. Please, the world needs that to be a recorded track, or at least a complete version.🙏 Your playing, with her voice ...gives me chills everytime I watch it.

I played an arrangement of “Both Sides Now” on classical guitar about 41 years ago in my Senior Recital to finish my music degree in college. Whew - Emil, your version is by far the most beautiful I’ve heard. From a player’s perspective, I appreciate it/your skill very much!

Fantastic. Always loved this song and even play it in my own rudimentary way 😆 I notice some are baffled by your talent which I'm sure you have...in abundance. However I'm thinking of all the practice you must have put in to get this good. To me that shows dedication, stamina and willpower. I'm sure you have sacrificed many "fun" things on the altar of guitar practicing. My hat off to you sir for all that and for bringing us this and other wonderful pieces of music. I have been playing Classica Guitar for 40 years and love POP music arrangements, BOTH SIDES NOW has been arranged for SOLO Guitar by so many, This one is the most that catches by 'classical guitar mindedness'. Thanks for the free sheet music Emil, what makes hard to play this easy, intermidiate level of difficulty is playing those 'harmonics'.

Beautiful arrangement and a flawless performance. The opening with the gorgeous harp harmonics is amazing, but honestly my favorite part was when you fell into the sweet groove in the second verse. Overall a wonderful rendition of a classic song!
