For this video my doctor is treating my forehead, "eleven" lines between my brows, and crows feet around my eyes. Dominique, I just discovered your wonderful videos, and I really wanted to thank you so much for going to all the trouble that you do for us! I am also a woman of a certain age ( I am 42) home school mom of 5 children, and I love to look my best- which can make me feel guilty sometimes (although my husband encourages it). I have so appreciated your encouragement. As you have mentioned in one of your videos, it is very uncommon for women to be so encouraging. You are so brave to let us in on so many of your secrets- so selfless and giving. Although I do not have a glamorous job, looking and living my best puts a spring in my step- (and in my husband's, lol). Thank you for doing this video. I've been seeing my provider for the last two years. The work is minimal as is yours; not over done on the brow to give that heavy look and heavy feeling - once you've found a good provider you hang onto them like nobody's business. They know your face and they know what you need. I applaud you for sharing your experience. I started to do it for the same reasons as you, genetic 11 lines...was so sick of looking tired, worn out and frustrated. I'm 51 years old, wishes I would have started sooner.

I would love to know what can be done with the neck starting to sag and jowls starting to form. I hardly have any wrinkles but my neck is giving away my age at 51.

I don't see anything wrong with looking your age. It's natural to feel self-conscious about aging, but most people do not look at an aging person and think, _Ew, he/she looks so old, yuck!_ We tend to factor in age in assessing attractiveness, and our assessment of attractiveness tends to turn more towards looking for signs of a live well lived: generally clear skin, smile lines rather than frown lines, height-weight proportionality, security and self-assuredness. I have a great-aunt who never had any sort of cosmetic procedures done and does not wear any makeup. She has some fine lines but she does not stress about her looks. That lack of stress shows in her countenance, as does her consistency with basic skincare, diet, and physical activity. Even at well over 70 years old, she is absolutely one of the most gorgeous people I have ever beheld. Dominique is a wealthy individual and a public figure whose looks factor heavily into her brand, so this is a potentially important investment for her, whereas it might not be so important for the everywoman.

I just turned 50 and just started a good skin care routine 5 years ago or so...I was never really taught what good skin care was. I also found a KZfaq Channel that teaches facial exercise to help with those "etched" wrinkles. Thank you for your channel. I have learned so much.

I like this interview; very informative. People still criticize Botox, but they probably don't know they're looking at people who get it for Migraines. You can't tell if it's not overdone. The art of doing it has come a long way.

Haven't gotten Botox, but I did fillers a few years ago, so it's all gone now, but it did help a bit. I don't really need it at 43 and I'm Hispanic so I don't look my age, but I wanted to try it, and don't regret it. Many spas or doctor offices can offer package deals and specials for new clients. I recommend folks read reviews of the medical spa and make sure it's a good place. Don't be too frugal with your treatments, as we get what we pay for. :)

I've never heard her talk about fillers; I don't think she has them. Those are her natural lips and she has a tutorial on applying liner and lipstick for a fuller mouth. She shows younger pictures of herself with the same lips. Hope this helps.

I think you are a lovely women and provide some very useful tips, However it worries me that we are so afraid of a few wrinkles. Me personally I dont like the frozen look that botox has on a womens face and prefer a more natural look (wrinkles). Doesnt mean I dont look after my skin and eat well and exercise but I think the pursuit of youth is one that we all eventually lose and perhaps accepting the changes to our face is a part of that ageing process. The problem is that once a person has started these treatments, it's highly likely to want to continue for the rest of one's life. That's a huge financial drain, and an emotional drain. I can imagine you become always vigilant and hyper sensitive to how you look each and every day. Just isn't how I want to spend my energy and risk becoming neurotic. What a shame women feel such pressure to erase the signs of aging.

I am guilty, I do the brow lift (maybe I am mistaken of how it is called). Though in most cases it is apparent and unnatural, the doctor who preforms it for me, makes the end result look like I have my eyes a bit more open. It looks nice and youthful, not at all unnatural. I am quite young (31), all dosages are low. xo, Janice

This is one of the very negative side effects of Botox. Shame it wasn’t discussed. Some people are badly affected with incredible side effects but I suppose that’s the case with any case. I would have liked to have a Dr discuss it though .

Yes, SO many of my friends don't know the difference between Botox and filler....I guess because they've never done it. I started with Botox in my late 40s and I'm 65. No wrinkles.

Artlover certain foods and herbs can improve skin plus not sleeping on side, using sunscreen etc.

Very informative. I learned that I better start now to avoid the need for fillers. Any advice for nasolabial lines, hollows under the eyes and drooping skin at the chin?

Dr.'s are using all kinds of fillers for that. It's amazing what can be done these days..

I have a lot of experience with shots in my face, due to acne. Wasn't horrible. I live in Austin. Could you recommend, Dr. Aguilar, a few physicians I could visit here? Much thanks!

I recently stumbled across your KZfaq videos and have really loved the inspirational content! I know this is an older video but I hope you still read the comments. I am really interested in microblading my eyebrows as well as getting botox done, -(have never done either), which one should I do first? I'm thinking there is probably an order? I am a 57 year old woman and my one eyebrow seems to sink down just slightly more than the other, therefore I don't want to sabotage the result by starting with the "wrong" procedure first, if you know what I mean... Thank you for your time and great informational videos!
