Let’s just be clear and honest with ourselves - Jagex likely makes the majority of their OSRS income from membership on botted accounts. This will not change.

I think there could/should still be a method of enforcement that gate-keeps bots from high level activities. The bot owners would stick to lower level content if that’s all they were allowed to do. To let bots run rampant on dt2 bosses, raids, pking, etc. is foolish and detrimental to your committed player base - the same people who create profit for bot owners and thus Jagex (rwt is a separate conversation). If there was an implicit restriction on bot owners that kept their farming to bosses/activities under a certain threshold, I think we’d be in a better position as a community/economy.

Um bots get bonds used on them why would they pay for membership if they rwt which most bot farmers do cause they’re already breaking rules use your brain it’s more likely they own the bots than that scenario

My irl buddy IGN "Scottie Dabs" has been chasing the Levi pet with 8k+ plus kills dry, he was ranked 32 with 5446 kills, I did not understand how bad it was until he showed me how he has 8,000 plus kills right now dropped down to rank 122 and he also began to show me how all the front page were all bots He has screenshots of them with two or 3,000 kills and now has 14,000 plus You can also tell the bots by looking at their levels and their names The names one are usually stupid and the skills are usually only built up for Leviathan every single one of them has 62 herb that's a fact. It sucks seeing somebody you know in real life chasing something that is being demolished by so-called hand-played bot accounts. It all got worse much much worse after jagex said they can't do anything about it because they are hand played accounts.

I've been reporting the same 6 or so bots that stay on the same world (534) at CG over the past two weeks. Not one of them are banned, and they're all over 2,500kc.

When I got into botting back in 2015 with some friends. Payed scripts that we over 20nzd were absolutely amazing. You'd swear it was someone playing. Maybe it was but I swear the scripts were insane to use, legit running 4 accounts 24 hours a day just printing go. Back when gp was over $2nzd a mill

I was falsely banned at CG. With a total of 34 KC on gauntlet and 9 failed attempts at CG . That day I did only 3 gauntlets and 2 failed attempts at CG after work. Next day my account had a temporary bot ban. I won't even touch that content again, truly disappointed at jagex

highscores top pages are being replaced by botters, if enough real players start shaming them for it, they will fix it quick af, just like they have done previously, maybe if more big named people actually stood up to jagex and made more videos saying its shameful that their top pages of HS are overturned by bots. why play a game if the player base is bots? A moderator saying these people are botting and cheating but they cant do anything till the wealth is transferred is honestly the biggest piss take ever.
