Ollie is the orphaned baby black rhino at the Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre in South Africa. During my stay as a volunteer I was lucky enough to feed the little guy on numerous occasions. This video is Ollie getting his morning feed of milk right before he decides that he doesn't want to go back into his boma and runs away.

Looks like a miniature tank. And they are. These animals are soo cool. Like a dinosaur....so happy the little one found a good home where everyone is taking care of him.

I would put some shoes on because if such a baby rhino that weighs about 500 pounds steps on your foot with that what you were wearing,you really would regret it.

They grow fast in a couple of weeks.

how much does he eat daily, milk and other food. And when they are grown, how much per day then? Can you train them like a dog to do simple things, like stay off the couch, or come when you call, or stop whatever they may be doing, or to calm down and be gentle. Can you train him for riding?

Poor Ollie and another Rhino were killed by poachers a couple or more years later while they were still on the reserve!! We have all got to try to support the reserves and stop paoching
