The channel Mudlarking with kit & caboodlers would go crazy for that doll's head and arms... They rebuild the ones they find in dumps. Some nice bottles there!

Turned out to be a nice dig Tom, if you had given up on the broken marmalades, you wouldnt have found the doll pieces, as you said, you never know what could be in there. Love the new style rake, looks to have done a good job. Looking forward to the next dig, take care & stay safe.

Some lovely finds , love the doll , it may not have had bisque legs some antique soft body dolls have cloth legs and feet , but have bisque head and arms , the parts that were not covered with clothing , I wonder if denture tablets would remove a bit more rust from the head . As ever wonderful video , and the rake is very inventive.....maybe you should make one for Shane 😜❤

That little ornate perfume bottle was my absolute favourite, such an amazing find Tom! I also love finding shoes knowing the last person to touch them was the owner 100 years ago! Tips are just full of forgotten stories.

Tom, Nice variety of bottles and jars. The colors are particularly wonderful. It's sure is nice to dig up bottles that are unique colors. The little perfume bottle is beautiful. Keep your sweet videos coming. Also I really like your prototype rake I sure hope something great comes out of it.

Great finds today! You sure deserve it! The hand grenade thing is part of a cruet set. A metal caddie would hold various bottles containing condiments, relish, oil, etc. the metal holders ranged from plain to ornate, but the bottles matched and had metal lids or glass stoppers. Usually silver plated or pewter. Usually five or six to a set. Cheers!

It looked like a blue poison amongst all those broken jam pots at the 17:15 mark on the film. I truly hope not. You work your tail off digging those tips. You found some really nice and unusual things. Nice!

Rayner's... been going over 150 years (been bought out of course over the years, probably more than once). I've got some rayners vanilla essence in the kitchen so still a 'living' brand. that tiger sauce bottle tho was excellent - looks like variable colouration rather than a single shade of green, am I right? total gem regardless.

Thank you I have never seen the rayners before

@@bottlediggertom I've never seen any older examples either - just goes to show, there's so much 'stuff' out there and we've only uncovered part of the past. the loss of labels means many probably popular brands have ended up as those hundreds of anonymous blanks. that rayners bottle may just be an example of a short-lived move to using embossed bottles or just be from one niche product among many. excellent find whatever the story tho!
