I wish him the best life. You're amazing for continuing to help him. It's sad that someone I know is deciding she wants to give her cat away because it doesn't want to engage with her. There are 5 cats in the house, and that cat is specifically named Hydie, she hides. Apparently the bitch doesn't want to feed and shelter an animal if she doesn't get her own selfish and personal gain from the damn animal. She wants the cat to come to her and let her pet it but the cat has no ground in the house, no safe spots, no correct feeding schedules(there's just bowls out) (everyone needs to know this is not an ok situation. Unless you have two cats, and even then sometimes you cannot, it's usually not recommended to free feed them.) It causes bullying and aggression. She is so selfish and I'm so embarrassed to admit it's my older sister. She's older than me, and I'm 22, and she acts like this towards an animal you need to show they can trust you before you just walk up to it and grab it to cuddle. They don't know that, and also cats don't like just being picked up. You have to ask for permission or else you start basically from square one on some cases of just not allowing them to make their own comfortable move in the situation. Sorry, I just love cats

@@lizamay722 That sounds terrible, Ive had my fair share of cats who preferred to be looked at rather than touched when I first had them. That's actually one of my new cats, she's unfamiliar with other cats so she's aggressive to them and is at best barley tolerant of me. She's my fourth, I love her though because she has little moments where she approaches me looking for affection, but then gets scared and backs off. Cats like her need time to adjust and need people willing to help them adjust. Cats aren't dogs 😅 despite what my sister tuxedos have to say about it. While it might be stressful it most likely would be better for her to be rehomed to someone who's willing to give her the much needed space she needs right now. My cats I've had before Leah (my newest) were with me for years since kitten hood, or bottle fed by me. The trust they have with me is always improving and has taken lots of time to get to where it is today. They're tolerant of baths, minus verbal protesting, and allow me to pick them up and rub their stomachs. That doesn't happen right out the gate. There's also no way to be sure she'll ever get there. Sometimes they don't and people who actually respect their pets would understand that. Do urge her rather than force affection try using that energy to improving the environment

Aww thank you so much for doing that for the sweet kittens!!!! I wish I was in a position where I could do something like that but I live with my in laws and they’re extremely allergic so I just donate to local shelters instead. But it’s definitely not as satisfying as getting to watch them grow up like that.

why don't you let the mom be a mom ? Does she have some kind of problem or you're just childish ?

@@Alphabetwillbet it's very common for kittens born to outdoor cats to end up as orphans due to things like mom cat being hit by a car and other unfortunate scenarios. that's why this time of year most shelters and foster homes are overflowing with neonate kittens who need this kind of care. there are situations as well where mom will reject the kittens and need to be entirely or supplementally bottle fed. or mom cat could have an illness that prevents her from nursing the kittens. why you jumped to calling OP childish is incredibly bizarre
