In her inaugural speech in yesterday’s parliament sitting, newly elected member for North Bougainville Francesca Semoso called for the national government to honour the wishes of the people of the Autonomous Region of Bougainville for self-determination.
Semoso said this year is supposed to be the year for parliament to ratify the results of the Bougainville Referendum.
