Congrats on the purchase. As far as the body and dash/interior are concerned, It's really clean... When you buy an EF all most people are worried about is if its rust free. Yours seems rust free, and the body is STRAIGHT. Great potential in it for sure. The blue thing is an Oil pan gasket. For the horn, Check them at the bumper connector with like a drill battery or something to see if they actually even work, and if they work direct voltage, check the grounds. they get corroded AF and thus, can't complete the circuit when you press the button. You could Also check out Honda Street Garages channel or even hit him up. he's a real down to earth guy like y'all and could easily answer any question you might have if you're having trouble finding information elsewhere.

I had one of these for TEN years, bone stock, no mods. Same color as yours. And I named it Stitch. The thing about the EF91, is that it's a driving experience that engages all of your senses. No padding from road, and engine sound, and you feel the road. God, I miss my EF!

B18a1 swaps right in with the right motor mounts. Can get a cable 5 speed. Shoot I have B18a1 shortblock needs rebuild n 5 speed trans that ill donate. Just south of ya guys 2 or so hours

I basically had the same car, and had the snapping cv joint. The trick to driving it while broken without getting a noise; only steer or accelerate. When you steer while picking up speed, it will click. While taking a left, get to the center of the road, turn 90, straighten wheel, and then accelerate. :) But yeah, hopefully its changed soon. For the record, I had a '91, Civic DX, 4 door sedan, automatic. There is something about Civics that are really fun and likable. Enjoy!

Out of all the cars I've ever owned, my 1991 Si Hatch was my favorite. I loved it so much, I bought a red 1990 Si hatch a few years ago, and am getting it back on the road.

I love that body style. They're so incredibly hard to find in my area of the country. I've never seen one for sale, but I still occasionally see people driving them. I'm almost to the point of approaching people with them (even if I have to follow them lol) and seeing if they would be willing to take a wad of cash for it.

This was my first car in 96 same color also. I saved for two years working at McDonald's and selling nicks and dimes at school. Made an intake in my welding shop and ran 2.5 inch pipe from header back to cherry bomb 2 muffler. Also scored a set of alloy acura integra 5 star wheels. Inside I had a Grant 3 spoke leather wheel. Blaupunkt head unit with pioneer door speakers with cheap ass bass blockers as a crossover, Rockford punch and a Kicker ss 10 loaded sub woofer box

Beautiful choice for an FF car man. They are a different type of fun. There is different limits when driving an FF car that make it more exciting and fun. Coming from a guy that went from having a Quattro wagon to an Echo hatchback... PS I havent watched yet but am totally going to find the time my guys

I think its a great buy. I bought a 91 Honda Civic Wagovan with 300k miles and blown suspension, but I still had so much fun with it being only $1000. I put a 2.5 inch straight pipe on it lol it was so slow but so fun.

Honestly 274k isn't that bad, as long as it was cared for somewhat. The B16 Del Sol I bought 2 months ago had 321k on the original b16a3 and runs like a champ.

Been in the ef game for about 15 years have a 91 crx ef clean mine had a d15b2 about 92 stock hp did a mini me now it went from slow to really fun never had it dynode but close to 130hp that was just till i b18 vtec turbo so trust. Me EFs are really hard to find a clean car and there getting in the money let me say you bought a very nice hatch clean you can do a mini me cylinder head conversion for more power for now or go b18b1 then add turbo and have tuned or gsr sky is the limit but just wanted to say good job on that purchase awesome and like and subscribed keep us updated
