Yeah I am happy with the seemless experience even without EVF episode coming up on the experience of shooting with it. And bought the Leica xX2 too.

I also a tl2. Do you notice any downgrades from the t 701? I am wondering if the lower megapixels produces less noise? Thanks

I think the TL series are great design and images. Too bad Leica has discontinued the L mount line cameras

@@PaulTakesPhotos They haven't discontinued the L mount. The SL2 still uses the L mount and blackamagic is going to adopt the L mount as well. Together with Sigma, Panasonic , Dij and other parties (TT artisan, 7 Artisans, Brightstar among others), the choice is pretty big. Best of all the L mount is easily adaptable to older/other mounts. I have m39, m42, Minolta A, Minolta MD and Leica M mount adapters and because of the APS-C sensor you won't notice any extreme vignetting or other issues. Virtually it gives access to a backlog of lenses spanning 80 years and it looks drop dead gorgeous while doing it.

@@PaulTakesPhotos I purchased the LEICA Elmarit-TL 18 f/2.8 ASPH And the LEICA Vario-Elmar-TL 18-56 f/3.5-5.6 ASPH Both in used condition from the B&H store. The camera body was purchased on eBay

That is some serious lens material. I use the sigma 56mm f/1.4 (L-mount) on the Leica

Thanks for sharing. I am kinda surprised Leica is not coming with a TL3 or ClL2. Great cameras, great lens mount, great Image quality and affordable.

@@PaulTakesPhotos My guess is that the system doesn‘t make much sense for Leica from a business perspective. Leica aficionados prefer the Q or M or SL, most people want full frame anyway, and the APS-C folk who prefer their gear to be small and light tend to compare with Fuji. I was hoping for a CL2, too.

True indeed. I do agree that the CL2 was much anticipated by most CL fans :)
