He is wonderful.no one ever sounded like Elvis until I found Bouke..I could listen to him all day long..I love closing my eyes..then again..I can see Elvis..Love this man.

Anyone who dares to sing any song performed by Elvis Presley has to sing a lot! Bouke has revealed himself to be a spectacular singer. He does beautiful reinterpretations of Elvis.

Just remember his name is Bouke'. so glad he does not base his career on being anything other than Bouke'. He is not a wet rag impersonator and I am so glad of that. I even love his Dutch music and I am just now learning basic words in Dutch. He is his own man, his own talent, and does those E songs because he was asked to do them by some of his fans. Love him.

This guy puts all the other Elvis impersonators in his pocket. Not one impersonator comes close to his voice, and vocal chords. Bravo!

He is not an impersonator. He has his own HUGE following in the Netherlands, he is Dutch. He does these tribute shows once ina while, but has been in the biz a long time and is HUGE. Those impersonators are all wet rags. this is Bouke's natural talent. He has other stuff on here besides Elvis music.

Me too, but we will prob have to go to the Netherlands or Belgium for that. He does not tour the US. Wish he would, but I understand he likes to stay close to home for his 2 sons. Can't even buy a cd on amazon international, they are alwasy sold out. He's great.

@@JaneKelly32 he's done a few with just his guitar and some with his guitar player, no band, no studio. It's all him. A few are even in his living room during the pandemic with just a cell phone camera. Lots of videos outdoors performing at local festivals.

It is his own voice. He does not try to imitate anyone, he just sings the songs as himself. And a lot of the moves are his own, he just goes where the music takes him.

I found this wonderful singer on KZfaq about a year ago. Cannot stop listening to him and his amazing voice and stage presence. Every time I leave a comment, it’s always the same thing. I keep asking “why does he not come to the United States? he can easily have a Vegas residency. He has the look, the voice and the personality! Look what happened to the Beatles when they came here! He should really share his amazing talent in the US.

He has 2 young boys in school, and family he doesn't want to leave for long periods of time while he would have to tour.. and doesn't want to relocate to the US. Maybe someday but not now.

You will fall in love with his original music as well. Even though mst of it is in Dutch, he still sings to your soul. That is a talent only the best can sing-singing to the soul.

He is not an impersonator. He is a huge success in the Netherlands, by his own doing of his own music, he is Dutch. He does these tributes once in a while, I think for the Elvis fans. But Bouke stands alone. fills a stadium over there that holds 88k.

I have an abundance of respect for the genuinely gifted Elvis tribute artists that really take the time, the passion the love and respect towards paying tribute to the KING’S legacy. After studying many of these talents and I must say there are many great performers out there, the 2 that shine the most ( in my opinion) are Bouke and Ben Portsmouth !!! You also mean one of your favorite Marty Robbins songs as he wrote it and recorded it. He also performed it in his life performances. IMHO, Marty is the greatest singer/songwriter of the last 70 years. Elvis was great, but not as great as Marty.
