Grabbing a big fish is not hard to do with where this nest is located - surrounded on three sides by a stocked pond! Best location on the Continent as far as I am concerned. Only comparable place would be the Decorah bald eagle nest right across from a fish farm with a retention pond full of fish and a creek full of fish running at the base of the tree.

I agree, but I would also add Charlo, Montana.

@@rysx132 Yep, they have an excellent location as well. I remember a couple of years back the osplet ( believe there was only one that year, but I might be wrong) was jumping off the nest platform into the small pond at the base of the platform and coming back with what looked like bullheads for lunch.

The osprey in Salem Oregon get a lot of fish out of the Willamette River
