In 2018, after successfully advocating for the adoption of the Land Code, the National Land Coalition in Togo piloted the land rights recognition process in the village of Illico Ogome. The process, which was facilitated by the community Chief, helped secure over 400 hectares of community land. This is the story of how the process changed their lives.
