Why, he was only one player of many others who were way more retaliatory than him. I lived there during this times and their hang out was by my house or behind it at the gym. My two closet buddies became apart of them and I lost their friendship forever. Imagine guys you hung out with every single day from morning to nighttime, all of a sudden removed from being your friend. But my friends NEVER acknowledged me again, even when I would call their names when they were with them. I didn’t know their thinking. One day we the close buddies, playing basketball every single day, smoking blunted of Ty weed, cracking ruthless mama jokes when one of my friends said, “I had enough I can’t take no more” I won that night. To never responding to me ever again. To robbing with them. Thanks friends for never getting me involved because my life would be different today. Love yall. I have no bad memories of those guys trying to ever do any harm to me, little things but nothing to major. Those were some tough young dudes though. Guys that you don’t want to cross because they owned the streets. The Hawkins and those guys were both my neighborhood allies and they will always be that. I will always have love and respect for all of them.
