I think the finance company should provide D with a written notice that confirms that they're behind in payments and for repossession. Everyone says the same thing and it turns into "my word vs your word."

HERE'S THE DEAL;;; when D return the car to the finance company without the key it's less money he'll make.... therefore he lie to them and say they will have to pay a extra 1500$..... which make them comply because they want they car back but don't realize the car pretty much gone because the finance company no longer wants their business

Apparently, the one thing not made uber-clear to these slackers is that the car belongs to the finance company until the last dollar is paid and the title is signed over them. Until then, it legally belongs to the finance company/bank. It is not the slacker's car! D has come to retrieve the finance company's car!
