Bourbon Hunting in Missouri/ Kansas

These were the best places I found while in MO while on a work trip. I visited around 13 different liquor stores over 2 days and filmed a few of the best.
I ended up buying;
1 x Weller Special Reserve
1 x Ben Holliday Soft Red Wheat 6y BIB
2 x Ben Holliday Soft Red Wheat Rickhouse Proof 6y
Overall this area was slim pickings but a few of the stores were awesome and I truly appreciate them letting me film.

The Augusta Buckner's behind the counter is one of the best tasting Bourbons I've ever had. If you come across a bottle, pick it up, trust me, absolutely fantastic.

I had a sample and it was great! I just had a hard time paying like $200. Maybe once this channel starts paying more than nothing, I can afford a few more bottles at that price point 😅

Bubbles was literally the coolest. The owner was awesome! They had a ton of samples and a great selection

Nice video! Did any of these stores have an allocated section? I have kids that live in the KC area, so I’m in KC frequently. There are a few hard to find bottles I’m looking for.

No allocated stuff. I actually went to around 13 stores over the 2 days and these were the best places. Nothing allocated though. Pick up Ben Holladay stuff is great. Just made a review on 2 of the bottles I got

Frank August, 15 Stars Platinum, Lucky Seven, Brother's Bond, New Riff Single Barrel, Knob Creek 12, Jim Beam Black 7, James E Pepper (which you commented), Barrell Seagrass, Barrell Vantage, Puncher's Chance Undisputed, might have been a 12 year too. Hard to catch everything with the speed panning.
