The 1/8" shadow line is the best design inspiration I have seen on youtube. FYI, in 1966, my first furniture build was a stereo cabinet with a 9 bottle whiskey compartment. The whiskey section had front doors and a top lid that opened automatically via springs and solenoid latches. The doors could be opened by just making some sound in a microphone, i.e. the voice command of some 50 years ago.

I’m in the design process of a stereo cabinet that will utilize that line throughout a geometric pattern to conceal front doors.

For the alcohol drawers, if someone WAS worried about the corks, could just glue in a Triangle in the back so they were tilted up a bit in the drawers. Could help turn their labels more upwards for display purposes too maybe. It's a sexy table though. I didn't see anyone mention it yet so I will point it out. When using a hole saw, peck at the material to clear the wood chips. Drill a 1/4 inch or so then back out. Repeat. Doing this will make drilling easier and reduce or even stop smoking. It will also save your hole saws. Another option is to drill a hole touching the line, inside or out depending on the piece you want to keep. This gives the chips a place to fall without pecking.

Jason, the next time you use your hole saw get your air hose and nozzle, take the nozzle hold the end of it close to the teeth of the hole saw, angle the end of the nozzle downward where the Groove is and blow air in the groove and it won't smoke or burn your wood. This technique blows the saw dust out and makes your hole saw cut smoother and faster. I do it all the time. Love you videos Jason.

Just a suggestion… for the drawer slides. Make a grove in the rail that is inside the cabinet(1/4” both sides) , but stop 1/2 before the end; then make a 1/4 “ hole in the drawer 😂and insert a dowel long enough that you can remove it later if you which to remove the drawer. The dowel will ride along the grove and serve as a stopper. Hopefully I am clear as mud. 😅 I build a five drawer chest and it worked beautifully. Nothing like wooden slides to give furniture an old look and craftsmanship.
