Had the bow set up at a pro shop. It performed just fine kzfaq.infoUgkxQEKUoxLWwayEDZR0NKB-5limn4MBU-2L . And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older.But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.

As an avid archery elk hunter I absolutely loved the footage in this video! However the amount of blown opportunities caused by silly mistakes that an experienced archery elk hunter should know not to commit in this video drove me crazy! These guys had that elk walking to his deathbed as those cows funneled to the right but they blew it because they wouldn’t hold still and spooked that cow. Elk’s eyes can pick up on the tiniest movement but if you stay completely still often they won’t notice you or think your a normal object in the woods. Get out from behind stuff and put your back to the brush this will let your camo do it’s job, then hold still and if you draw at the right moment you’ll get the shot!

@@Dennisgoyette all you guys are idiots! He did t want to just shoot any bull with a tough draw tag like he had. The unit has big bulls so he held out for a pretty dang nice un! And you don't hunt elk like whitetails most of the time, you run in and get it done when needed. They are loud , rough giant animals that make a tons of noise in this situation. Just make dang sure they don't smell ya...other than that you can get away with a lot of noise and movement.

Never Elk hunted myself, they must be very blind animals. One these boys from the South would have killed ALL of them in 30 minutes........NOT AN EXAGGERATION !

What I will say though as an accomplished whitetail hunter is that bucks can do down right wacky and crazy things when’s there’s a hot doe around. If she don’t leave he’s not either. I can imagine though the adrenaline is dumpinggg when you’ve got 600 pounds running back in forth in front of you. And of course any woodsmen knows it’s not about the kill but the chase. Why? Did he get busted? Common mistake is people come hunt elk, get into elk, and then start acting like they are stalking , hunting whitetails. They are NOT WHITETAILS! Get aggressive and seldom is noise or a little movement a problem in a rut fest like this. Usually it is because dudes are way too timid!

They've had to take down all there hunting videos and there aren't able to make money on any videos for 30 days. It's really shitty that youtube is doing this because their content isn't all that graphic and it's entertaining. Plus most of the people watching are there because they enjoy it.

He says no lighted knocks...after all the effort, I just think that helps so much. Lighted knocks have helped me find my arrow a number of times when I've gotten out of the tree and things look different, and it would be a pain to find the arrow after dark.

Great hunt and great video. Sometimes it's like that. You get so many animals in a frenzy and they're rutting and bugeling and your heart's pumping and your adrenaline is flowing and It's a real crazy scene. When you're in it, it's even more intense. This video showed it all. I've been hunting all my life and I'm 74. Still, when you're there, it's crazy magic.!!! That's why we do it! Nothing else compares!!! Great adventure and video

That was funny as hell. That bull wearing himself out trying to answer your call. He knows your in there somewhere but everywhere he looks he comes up empty. It's like he's saying "What the hell you coward stand still."

The fact that he didn't let warbs come because he didn't want extra movement after basically doing jumping jacks with a bull staring him down... like bro there's no way warbs would possibly be the one to spook that thing

I was thinking the same thing. This had to be on some very low number draw unit. I’ve never been elk hunting and I have watched a pile of videos and have never seen anything like this.

I just LOVE how you can hear your hartbeat racing right at about 18:55 when you guys see that bull and you tell him to stand still. That just shows the rush you had beïng between those awesome animals!!!! You have to listen with a headphone though, normal speakers don't produce the sound as good..... Awesome video!!!!

Great video, but man, so many teaching moments needed in this video. Hopefully Drew doesn't think elk are normally this available, not drawing bow, no cover, the veteran THP team and guides should have been coaching way better. Lucky one fell into your lap, not the norm.

All Arizona tags look like that. We had a great rain season this summer which made for a great rut action this September. Bulls were very active.

That was INSANE action. Sometimes the camera guys have an angle view of the animals the hunter may not have, so don't be too hard on him. When to draw, when to not draw... magnificent animal and hunt.

I really love how you guys are so honest about those shots. Most shows will glaze over a marginal shot , not mention it or upsell it. This turned out great though!
