What kind of rubber did you use for the straps? I have built a similar style and settled with velcro straps, but it does not stay on the bow so well and requires periodic adjustment. I dig those custom Sam Browne buttons too. Great Video!

That is rubber gasket material I picked up at a local gasket shop. They let me look through their off cuts pile to find the thickness I wanted.

Awesome work! Where did you find the rubber for the shaft holder part on your quiver? I’ve been thinking of a quiver design and you have motivated me to gather materials to try my hand at building it! I build my own bows and would like build a quiver of my own design to go with them. Regards, Jason

Jason Rigsby I picked up that rubber at a local gasket shop. You can get it online but I wanted to look at how stiff it was before I bought it. They ended up finding small pieces and practically gave it to me. I would start there before ordering it online. Good luck with your build.

Not long. Maybe a minute but it depends on the thickness of the leather. I just keep checking it until it’s soaked all the way through.

Amazing effort and thanks for sharing. My only concern was some of the metal parts possibly touching the bow.

I was also concerned about that but the way the bolt sucks into the rubber it has clearance. If you look at the way Big Jims straps are they avoid this issue by having it loop around. Its hard to describe in text but take a look at it.
