Ollie, keep listening to your body. Ale is likely what cause it. Your body just cant handle any alcohol. My brother-in-law was diagnosed with mesothelioma which spread all over the lining of the lungs and the heart. He had a better chance at dodging a bullet than surviving the cancer and he dodged that bullet. His wife was already talking about life after him and the prospect of funeral costs when he said, “Stop trying to bury me! I’m not dead yet”. His attitude was everything and he’s cancer free. It’s been 10 years since then. His faith is there and so was his willingness to fight. You have the same fighting spirit. So keep faith in God and your amazing fighting spirit. Know that you are abundantly loved by Jesus and by so many people you have never met. My prayers are always with you.

The greatest Man in history was not "some guy". He conquered death, offers you a free gift of eternal life with Him in Heaven. The Gospels are firsthand accounts of Jesus' life, and the apostles save but one, all were killed in various different ways because of their belief in Jesus being the Son of God. Jesus wasn't some Guy that got made up for the apostle's fame, riches, or anything else. He was and still is a real Person that loves you and wants to spend eternity with you. John 3:14-20.

@@noble64b he's not a superhero buddy. What about the people from ancient Egypt or Greek? They had completely different religions and fully believed it. Why just this religion instead of the hundreds of others? The bible itself has a lot of points that also don't make sense.
@noble64b

@@TheACTIONZ Because the historical evidence (The Gospels, amongst several other writings.) Points to the existence of Christ, His death, and resurrection on the third day. If it was all just a massive lie, the writers of the Gospels wouldn't have died horrific deaths for their belief in Christ. (Peter and Andrew got crucified in different ways, Paul was beheaded, Matthias was burned, John suffered probably the worst death, which was having burning oil poured onto him. Sources vary about the deaths of the other apostles; all save but 1 include Martyrdom.) "Why just this religion instead of the hundreds of others? " Same reason stated as above. Also, it's not really about religion, it's about a relationship with God through Christ. "The bible itself has a lot of points that also don't make sense." Due specify.

We love you, Ollie. Keep up the positive attitude. You are an inspiration to all. I have been vegetarian/vegan for 25 years and everything you are eating are staples in my diet. I would ask that you substitute nut butters or sunflower butter (there are many other options) for nuts and seeds which are extremely taxing to digest. The butters are just as nutritious and you can get them with flaxseed (ground up as an additive) which is what vegetarians/vegans consume for the omega-3 benefits that fish oil is known for. Just a suggestion. Have lunch on me, my friend. 🖤.

My aunt had ovarian cancer and was successfully treated but the treatment gave her leukemia. She couldn't eat for weeks and became thin as a rail. Luckily she has amazing insurance and goes in about once or twice a week for blood and platelets and after those she is full of energy and has an appetite. We know the effectiveness of that will lessen but she's about 7 years out from ovarian cancer. Shes outlived the doctors expectations about 5 times over now. She's a rare breed though...tough lady.

I’ve never donated to a KZfaq channel but I feel that now is a great time to end that. About 6 months ago I was afraid I had non hodkins lymphoma. I was scared to death and I’m only 17 so that made things worse. I stressed about this a lot but after some tests the doctor concluded that I didn’t have cancer. Although this was reliving. It also taught me a few things. One being that you should never take anything for granted, two being to live everyday as if it’s your last. And three being that life is wonderful and it’s the greatest gift to live even a second. Because I was researching cancer so much the algorithm brought me here. Ollie, you’ve changed my life and I will always remember you. Because of you and my experience this past year, I am now interested in pursuing a career in oncology. And to add on top of that I’ve never tried air soft, and me and my friends are gonna go do that together for the first time, and it’s all thanks to you. Keep being wonderful, positive, and amazing! And let’s kick cancers ass!!!

With a broken english of mine, to put it as honestly as I can: it breaks a heart and sheds plenty tears to see You go through this. I somehow don't like the idea of "fighting an illness", since it can turn what is just a tragedy into a defeat, making it somewhat shameful, when I don't think it's a matter where judgment should be attached to; but I must admit your courage and will in the face of the struggle are incredibly inspiring. Today, I took a walk by the river with my girlfriend and thought of you - of how much I'd love for you to have time. I do really hope the wishes will flow down the river and reach you eventually.

If I had cancer, water-fasting is what I'd use. Getting into a state of hard ketosis before chemo seems to show some efficacy in killing cancer cells, while reducing the damage to non-cancerous cells. The conjecture is that in a fasted state non-cancerous cells can turn to using fat for fuel While cancerous cells tend to have damaged or non-functioning mitochondria which limits their ability to get energy from fat. I would try to keep my blood glucose levels as low as I could get them. Most forms of cancer can only use glucose for energy, so while it's impossible to reduce your blood glucose levels to zero, you can function quite well at levels below what is considered "normal." As with many things this is controversial, it's not settled science, and I'm not a doctor. But if I were in your shoes, I'd be using water fasting as an adjunct therapy . I'd try to get most of my calories from good fats (extra-virgin olive oil, extra-virgin sesame seed oil, avocado oil, coconut or MCT oil, maybe some grass-fed butter, heavy cream, and cheeses), there are lots of calories in oil, so a little goes a long way if you're metabolically geared for it, you could live off it. Fats and protien are essential nutrients to life, carbohydrates aren't. May God bless you, I'm praying for you.
@PhillipJermakian
@PhillipJermakian 4 ай бұрын
The thing that gets me is chemo has a 1% higher success rate then no chemo. At least that is what I read years ago. If you consider how different family support and medical support must be between those groups, and how wildly different age/expectations must be, I feel like if that was properly controlled for then chemo would come out as lowering your chances. The fasting bit is the way to go for sure though. Best of luck Ollie, hope you get better, saying a prayer for you.

I was diagnosed with renal cancer over a year ago. At that time I decided that I would not eat red meat anymore (along with many other foods). I also learned that a very common generic blood pressure drug that I was taking prior to the diagnosis was tainted during the manufacturing process with a suspected cancer causing agent (drug was made in India and China). After two surgeries and many chemotherapy sessions, they are still testing me every three months for new tumors. I firmly believe that the rise in these cancers are a direct result of an unbridled food industry where profits are put before the health of the people. The lack of understanding and the sheer money involved also tends to influence our government leaders into inaction. Keep up the good fight. You're almost three months into this and your color and general outward appearance look very good. We are all pulling for you!!

Hi Ollie, I hope you are doing as well as possible mate. I came across this poem recently and I wanted to share it with you. When you’re up against a trouble, Meet it squarely, face to face; Lift your chin and set your shoulders, Plant your feet and take a brace. When it’s vain to try to dodge it, Do the best that you can do; You may fail, but you may conquer, See it through! Black may be the clouds about you And your future may seem grim, But don’t let your nerve desert you; Keep yourself in fighting trim. If the worst is bound to happen, Spite of all that you can do, Running from it will not save you, See it through! Even hope may seem but futile, When with troubles you’re beset, But remember you are facing Just what other men have met. You may fail, but fall still fighting; Don’t give up, whate’er you do; Eyes front, head high to the finish. See it through!

What makes you sure it was the red meat in the pie and not the ale? Alcohol of any kind or amount may have caused the sickness as your body may simply be unable to tolerate it. Either way you're listening to your body and responding kindly and gently to its signals. I wish you all the best.

It’s the other stuff in the pie for sure. Meat is not the enemy it’s the stuff we eat with the meat such as breads, oils, fried foods etc.

@@itscool770 Red meat has been linked to cancer for decades. Having it every once in a while will unlikely do any harm, but it's a cumulative effect. Someone I know who developed bowel cancer ate red meat and processed meat every day for about 35 years. But I agree it's also every other processed junk food
@itscool770
@itscool770 4 ай бұрын
@@Harry-fk5of processed meats are not good at all and most people who eat meat daily also eat other stuff such as the oils and breads and fried foods I mentioned every day too. I think moderation is key but I don’t think starving yourself while enduring chemo is the answer. Fasting can be a great tool to heal the body but you also need food for energy while doing chemo and in my opinion high quality meat can be great source of protein. I personally wouldn’t be eating beans like he mentioned. Dark leafy greens, broccoli, homemade broths and soups, red meat, quality butter. That’s what I would do.

A few days after my 7th birthday I was diagnosed with leukemia. At the time I had no idea what cancer even was let alone leukemia but I remember my parents being worried.Throughout many procedures and 2 months in the hospital I fought and thankfully I was able to go home. Although I was able to leave the hospital I still had to go into a treatment center every week for chemo. I remember it not being too bad. I was able to have fun there, play games watch shows and relax. One night when I was home I had a fever. This meant I had to go into the Emergency Room or ER until I was better again. So me and my father went to the ER and after a while they had to do a blood draw. The doctors in the ER were not as gentle and careful as the other doctors I had previously. As I was waiting for my blood to be drawn they come out with a 4-5 inch needle to stick in my arm. I hold my fathers hand and he tells me to squeeze when I feel the pain. I do and it hurt but it was nothing compared to what I had done previously. After they stuck it in my arm the doctors told me they missed the vein and had to redo it. Going through the same steps again they did it 4 more times 2 on each arm. For years after that I had scars on my arms from the veins they had missed. This story reminded me of you as what you describe happened to you in this video. With the encouragement of the many caring people in my life and God I was able to beat it. I am 15 now and I am healthy. One thing I would tell you would be that although the whole experience of being sick seems bad always try and keep a positive mindset and try to look at the bright side of things as there are many good memories to be made and that you are very strong and can do it. In the end I look back on my whole time of being sick and only think of the good memories made as the bad ones did not last. Keep staying strong and keep fighting. You will win.

The fight IS in your hands, plus you‘ve got nothing to lose. I believe in you!

So do you think it's meat that's is problematic, if so why? Meat has lots of nutrients and minerals that are more bio available than vegetables (iron for example). Makes me wonder why it would be worse than vegetables. Great story, just wondering the mechanics of it.
@Serios-hh7pt
@Serios-hh7pt 4 ай бұрын
@@TrueWren Frankly for me I‘ve found this out through self-experimentation. Everytime I ate any animal product during my active cancer treatment I would feel extremely fatigued and very nauseous. After a lot of trial error I just decided to stick to this diet. In terms of science all I can offer is that meat induces higher IGF-1 growth hormone levels which has been been correlated with higher cancer risk. As a side note: I have been diagnosed with endometriosis too and eating any type of animal product severely increases my pain. There are some newer studies linking increased IGF-1 levels to this too. So I guess research a little and experiment with how you feel.
