Pickup a new canon and follow the manufactures instructions. That one has been stressed a bit too much. If not improve cover, barrels blowing up can cause shrapnel.

Remember there's a difference between Fluid Ounces and The weight measure Ounces. 1 Cup is 4 ounces of water. But powder is much lighter than water, so that half cup you are using is likely less than an ounce of powder.

You need to weigh the powder on a scale to get the proper amount of powder. 4 ounces of powder by weight is different than 1/2 cup or 4 fluid ounces. Great videos. Stay safe!

Bro i know a few things about cannons and at the first sign of stress you need to shelf the cannon and make a stronger better cannon stress cracks in the paint it the very first sign on catastrophic failure. 1/2 the force is lost just from the cannon not being held from moving backwards so much. Sand bags work well for this and from watching most your vids I'm pretty sure ya have plenty of sand around ta use.

As a general rule of thumb you take the weight of your projectile in grains and match that with powder and then you work your load from there up or down however you need so if you are shooting a 110 grain ball your max load will probably be 110 grains of powder but the optimal load will be somewhere around 80 meaning all powder is burnt and all of the gases are sufficiently used to push the projectile out of the barrel when using larger-diameter projectiles you want a courser grain of powder with a cannon you should be using 1f or Canon specific powder
