great job, that's a deer of a lifetime, but what I love the most is the attitude you have, the determination, and most of all how humble you are, and that saying of your grandpa's, if more hunters had that mentality there would be opportunities for big buck's more often, and lastly it gives me hope, I grew up without parent's and I was drawn to the outdoors and hunting as an escape, Ive never been able to afford a deer lease but with what you've done with 5 acres has shown me that it's not necessary to pay big money to achieve my dream, sorry for such a long comment, again thank you and God bless

It's nice to see someone work that hard to get the buck of a lifetime congrats! I hunt in Central Alabama and a 150 class buck for us is a stud my biggest is 138" I could not imagine that one. Unfortunately for me I broke my left leg just below the knee and had to have reconstructive surgery on my tibia ( plate and screws ) and the fibula set back in place in the middle of our hunting season so I will miss the rest of our season but on the up note I get to enjoy watching videos like yours of people who truly have a passion for the hunt and not just the kill. Just my opinion the hunt to me is what makes the trophy no matter the inches. Again congrats and awesome buck and really great to see true passion for the hunt! i must admit i have never shot a deer since i started hunting just this year! i am 14 and dont come from a family that is big on hunting!!i saw three does last day of gun season and decided not to shoot because i was worried about taking a non-ethical shot! i watch big buck kill videos to make me feel better:) Congrats! i am glad to see someone actually succeeding!! Congrats, normally I would say that is too far of a shot but I seen you practice at 80 and nailed it so you got this buck because you earned it. Earned it by perfecting your bow skills and hunting methods. You drew him onto your property because you were disciplined enough not to hunt it and he felt safe there. Amazing job bud
