It's called "Negotiation", in which Ludwig attempts to convince a troop on the opposing side to leave the battle and join them. This can be really useful, depending on who Ludwig chooses to negotiate with. Personally, I would like to see what happens when the negotiation proves unsuccessful. Does the enemy attack? Does Ludwig walk away with the fact that they are unbending? One may never know.
