Box Braids On SUPER SHORT Natural Hair 2 Months Post Big Chop

I shaved off my natural hair 2 months ago, so right now it is super short! It is possible to box braid short hair, just so long as the braids are small enough.

Just chopped my hair off a couple of months ago and have been dying to braid it!! This gave me so much confidence to do it!!

Big chop December 2. I regret it a lot. Tried to braid my hair last night, and I was so frustrated. Now that I see your video, I have confidence I can do it. Our hair is literally the same length. Thank you for the inspiration !!

The lady who braided my TWA used this method and my braids are so secure. I was so worried about the pain and braids falling off but amazingly, they're so secure and will last a good 2 months.

I'm literally sitting in my living room taking out a bout 20 braids I started yesterday on my twa....my hair length is the same as yours but there's no way I can finish braiding tonight for work tomorrow so I'll have to revisit. Thanks for the inspiration

How I wish you could really do this to my short hair. Ever since I shaved it all of it has grown to about your length but everywhere I go they say it's too short. They should really watch this😢

I’m 2 months post big chop and everyone keeps telling me my hair is too short. I too had a fade when I big chopped so I am beyond inspired rn. I just need the time and patience to do it on my own.

Omg I know the pain you’ve probably felt. I’m 2 months in as well & just did box braids on my hair & it took FOREVER but I’m about to do them again 💟

Six months post bald, going to try this again. I like the way you split up the days. I don't normally do that. Try to get it done in two days. Which now I see isn't the way to go. I'll give myself a week. To start and finish them.

Thank you for sharing. I am also 2 months post big chop. I’ve been considering putting my own braids in, as I’ve always done my daughter’s braid, but not my own. You’ve given me more confidence to do it. Our hair length is basically the same. Thx again!!!

Looks so great in the end. Pure dedication and hard work paid off! One day I may try it.. Braided my own hair a good ten years ago at uni and I remember the process being soo long
