All the games I love slap. 3) Zip it! - impolite way to tell someone to be quiet/ Stop talking. Exp: I told him to zip it. He was talking too much. 4) Shout it from the rooftops - used to share some information publicly so everyone knows. Exp: Congratulations on your promotion. You should go and shout it from the rooftops. - To tell everyone the good news. 5) It's a small world/ What a small world! - used to say to show your surprise that people or events in different places are connected; used to say that a surprising coincidence has occurred. Exp: I can't believe that you and I went to the same school. What a small world. 6) Keep a (the) lid on it or something - to control something in order to stop it from getting worse, or to keep something secret.
