Boxing Day Papas is Australia's fastest group ride featuring some of the current world's best sprinters, grand tour riders, time trialists and a huge number of talented local riders. Thousands of WA riders turn out to spectate the event across the course.

Australia has some of the worlds most mindlessly fast group rides on some of the worlds most dangerous and cycling ill-suited roads…

Perth actually has very good roads suitable for cycling. The “river loop” is one of them, when ridden between 6-9am (like this and our weekly rides) it avoids busy roads and you’d be lucky to be held up or hold up a car on this route. Other states certainly have a few busier routes like Beach Rd - but hey, that’s the way it is!
