This was honestly one of the best fights I’ve ever seen. From Plant’s aggressiveness in the first 5 or so rounds, to David’s slow build up to dominance, this fight had everything. Big shots, lots of tension, lots of experience and ring IQ. Would love to see a rematch happen at one point

I think Benevidez drowns Bivol, and I like Bivol but Benevidez is a bit more versatile and schooled imo. It'll be a classic, wouldn't surprise me if Bivol edged it though.

I've always been a Plant fan but even more so after this fight. I think if he takes his cardio to the next level he may be able to avenge this loss.. Not saying he wasn't in shape just saying if he could find a way to get to the next tier.. level up just once more it's possible he wins this fight. Big heart tho.. great fight! For those of you who actually watched the whole fight , that referee must of had money on Caleb cause that man protected him the whole fight and wouldn’t say a thing about him holding Benavides hand every time they exchanged. It was still an awesome fight but if it wasn’t for the referee I honestly think Benavides would’ve KO plant.

I wanna see more of Caleb man damn everyone underestimates Caleb but he’s a fking beast. Got a monstrous chin and great defense, speed and okay power , if only he improves his stamina which is hard when you fight punchers putting that much pressure on you , it tires you out quicker , the tension, emotions/wondering if your winning , when you get hit and everyone yells that’s mentally fatiguing And Caleb is just phenomenal , I wanna see his vs all the 168 pounders , sht , to me he’s second under David, At 168 Love Caleb. He needs to be in the ring asap and bounce back I know he can be champion if he campaigns at 160 or wait til canelo drops them belts

I just don't see either of these guys is all that talented. Plant was hitting a lot of blocked shots on Benavidez and Benavidez didn't really start showing anything until the last half of the fight. If these were the highlights it must have been a boring match to have watched.

This was a close fight. Id give Benavidez decisively the last 5 rounds. and even then. Plant was landing to the end. But Plant definitely got the first 7 rds. With some super nice combinations and great body movement and reflexes. Very close fight

Benevidez would’ve slept the Plant 🪴 the excessive holding by the Plat didn’t allow David Benevidez to put him too sleep 😴 at the end of the day The Plant 🪴 was subjected to massive punishment by two elite fighters in Canelo Alvarez and David Benevidez. What makes it more painful for the Plant 🪴 is having his wife witness the Plant 🪴 get dog 🐕 walked including savior carnage.
