It took out one guy, he lost his cover, and then just shot the other guys. This is the problem with these movies right now. Dante was the only thing that was great in this movie...

Dante for me was the main thing that RUINED the movie (tho I certainly had my fair share of other issues with it). I get that people want a more energetic villain in this franchise, maybe someone with a dark sense of humor, but this was just weird. Dante wasn’t even really funny with the exception of a few lines, he just made me uncomfortable, and not in a good way. In a comic book story like Batman? Sure, I can maybe get behind a villain like that. But in a Fast and Furious movie? Nope. I get the movies by this point are kind of a staple for “dumb fun” and no one’s expecting peak storytelling and characters, but this was way over the top. Especially since the advertising showed Dante to look like an actually threatening and intimidating villain similar to the Shaws, which made it even more disappointing for me. TL;DR: I didn’t like Dante. He was weird, mostly unfunny, disappointing, and just didn’t belong in this franchise.

Jay got the type of charisma that can kill any role he plays! I remember when his name was attached to the crow reboot, but things didn’t work out, I was seriously pissed. I felt he was the only actor who could really do the role justice after Brandon Lee.
