It's my firm opinion that for every person who is actually offended by something like this movie there are a thousand who are pretending because they think that's how they're supposed to react, or because they're trying to impress someone they believe thinks that way. Millions of people who secretly aren't offended pretending to be for the benefit of millions of other people who are also pretending (and the occasional person who isn't). It's madness.

Uh, this dude is probably the most controversial guy in existence. Borat and Bruno I personally think were worse, because of their focus on male genetailia at any and every corner, this is actually probably the least controversial of his films.

To be fair, the movie was in its core a critic against stereotypes, ignorance etc.. You can't say a joke is racist, if the joke is also criticizing racism. Inappropiate? Maybe, but nothing more.
