Back then we had our own documents and oaths. Just because there was no paper doesnt mean there wasnt a binding thing /Covenant. Back then it a social/societal contract.... The issue of that lady is a normal thing in some countries eg. Seychelles,, men cook, clean, take care of kids where else women are just sitted drinking and partying. And it's normal across all age groups
