@@davidrobinson3122its his fighting style though. He has to him do to be himself. Without it, he won't be the same fighter. Besides, some of the moves are needed to escape getting really hurt. His shiftiness shows off his speed, awesome reflexes, timing and power to knock out opponents. Like performance art and any form of entertainment - fun to watch 😁

3:45 was GENIUS! He slipped a few punches and made it look like he was reteating... but his feet actually switched from orthodox to southpaw. that change in body language instantly confused the other guy who walked straight into the "jab hand" which instantly switched into the power hand because he went southpaw... I've seen hundreds maybe thousands of fights - but i've never seen that move 😬

@@humphrey_bulldoguk22 the thing that im excited even more about is how he only showboats when he knows his opponents is slowing down, he doesnt showboat when his still not sure what how capable his opponent is, ALSO his coach on the ring side makes sure that ben focuses on hurting his opponent and not to showboat too much. all in all the reason why this kind of style hasnt worked that much is cause the people doing it got too much ego and forgets that their main goal is to drop their opponent not to showboat, i have high hopes on ben in giving this style another chance of spotlight just like how the prince and Ali did it on their era

If Ben does carry power then he's going far. It just depends who's left in the division in 2 years time when he's fighting the best, and if he's still showboating like that against the best and hurting them then you can only take your hat off to him. It's beautiful to watch. The problem with this fight style, is that, one, you can't make any mistakes or barely any mistakes, because once you get caught with your head on weird positions like that, it's night, especially if you are fighting a power puncher who can time you or trick you well. Two, once your reflexes slow down, and trust me, they will eventually, you are going to get knocked out to another dimension. Unless you have great basics to go back to and can fight like this and in a more traditional style. Whittaker better do.

I can’t stop because of the different era I grew up in. Look at sports now- football (🏈) bullshit end zone celebrations, nhl cellys, baseball bat flips(not to bad) basketball ball just don’t feel the same. The respect for your fellow opponent and shake hands after the game or fight but today the social media just keeps the bad blood going for views/money. Hockey players just talking before the puck drop to have a fight as soon as the puck drops and we are out the same time when there is no beef at all just to keep their jobs. To me sports changed for the worst when the 90’s were over and Jordan, Gretzky and Tyson were retired at least their primes were retired!!! We are all on this planet, but we don't all see the same things. This guy has gift to see so many punches before they are thrown, that's why he is super confident. He can read your body, your stance and your pulses before you throw, he can react to those cues.
