By the way, at the time, almost all American kids and most of our parents and many of our grandparents loved him and defended him and and felt protective of him. We were all aware that he was changing Americas feeling toward gay people and making gay people human. Unfortunately AIDS became an epidemic soon after and so it reversed a lot of the homophobic feelings some people had started out with.

I was in elementary school when Boy George was big and we kids decided the only difference between Boy George and everyone else was that he was willing to say on camera what adults said in real life but wouldn't in front of an audience. And that the reason he acted like he had a chip on his shoulder was because the square part of the public reacted the horrible way they did to him and that if we had lots of people always reacting the same way to us that we'd have a chip on our shoulder too and be a bit bitter. And that the rest of it was just him being British with a British sense of humor. Now that I've lived in London I realize how much of what seemed rude to us Americans was just his British sense of humor and sense of humorously inflated confidence. But really underneath all the eye shadow lol he was just like the rest of us.

The parts where he insulted David Letterman that the jacket would be expensive for him. The part where he insulted the audience that they shouldn’t be laughing. The way he cut his eyes at the audience, etc. He was rude & you could hear it in the audiences reaction to those comments. One of which George laughed & the audience didn’t. We bought his records, made him rich and he was rude.
@lessismore85333 жыл бұрын
@@HarpazoReady2022 lol George is one of the millions of celebs that ppl have bought music from and theres a chance whoever you bought from has been guilty too. After all. No human being is innocent. That should be obvious and expected. As far as George saying the Jacket was too expensive. Well that wasnt a lie It was a fact. Not his fault lol. It's only "rude" if one has rude intentions to insult someone. Also zooming in on George's facial expressions is a bit meticulous. We've all had looks. Celebrities are only caught because they're famous. Also one of these clips he was high so its kinda unfair. Lol

@@lessismore8533 I love Boy George's music. I bought it when I was in high school. I'm not bashing his music. I'm pointing out his attitude. But in watching many of his interviews over the years, he appears to only have his stinger out with male hosts. Just an observation.
