Yeah platonical love between men is underappreciated in shows and it's sometimes played for laughs, we deserve to see more serious emotional male friendships scenes, it should be normalized, no boy should feel ashamed of loving his homies. However, I feel like in this show Jack and Eric's relationship seemed quite queercoded, like friends who like each other but neither of them can't admit it.

All jokes aside I love how they normalize two male friends loving each other. It’s an important message all guys need to learn that it’s ok to show love and care to your best friend, and that it’s ok to be emotional and vulnerable with them when you need to be. Idk I just feel like a lot of guys don’t understand that and they should.

I don’t think that’s the joke? She walked past with HUGE boobs, so I think it’s implied she got a boob job over the summer break. It wouldn’t have been standard sitcom humor that a male PE teacher left for the summer, and then came back a gorgeous blonde woman? Things didn’t work that way back then, it wasn’t common lexicon nor did gender affirming surgery work in that manner.

Well, I do think I had good reason for it. The title is boy meets world, not shawn and cory and I find all the scenes in this episode too long for here. I have 10 minute videos of them acting as a couple and I think the scenes of them I chose here are more suitable for this video. Also, these types of videos will get views from a lot of people who haven't seen Boy Meets World and it would be better if this episode is a surprise for them if they decide to watch it. Kill me if you want, but I stand by my decision.

The show mostly holds up. I like when Shawn was dressing as a woman wasn’t just for cheap laughs, but they gave him a purpose for it. There were a few misses of course, but also the storyline where a professor hits on Topanga, thrb feeny and Corey explain that he’s not just being a guy but rather using his power as her teacher to enter her dorm and hit on her. I can’t think of other shows form my adolescence that covered these storylines as well. Also normalized boys being sensitive and enjoying arts and sharing feelings. 🫶🏻
