Boy Whose Pokémon Cards Were Lost in Hurricane Gets Thousands More

People around the country have donated Pokémon cards to a boy who lost his during Hurricane Ian. When Mason’s house in Siesta Isles, Florida, was destroyed, so too were the 12-year-old's prized collection of Pokémon cards. Thousands of Pokémon cards were donated to Mason from around the world to make up for the ones Ian ruined. As this family creates a new normal, Mason can smile a bit over the little things, like new Pokémon cards.

My grandparents lost theirs to Ian. Thank god we were able to step in and bring them home with us. They were able to salvage some stuff though

I lost mine in the super tornado outbreak 2011.. But I was super lucky because my family and pets were safe and I was able to save. Most things that were irreplaceable... FEMA, my local community, And people from around the country donated to help out.. Even sending your old towels can mean the world to somebody that lost their home

For those who don't understand why the cards would be important. I play Magic The Gathering and lost my deck. Mine is the cheapest one in my league and it cost me $250. To me that was a whole ass paycheck at the time.
